Steel Structural Frame and Platform:

This is the foundation of the accumulator.It must have sufficient strength and stability to support the looper carriage, the steel strip, and its own structure under both static and dynamic loads during operation. The frame is typically fabricated using structural steel and steel plates through welding, followed by stress relief treatment. All critical mounting surfaces must be precision-machined to ensure installation accuracy and long-term operational alignment.

Guide Rail and Balancing System:

The looper carriage relies on robust guide rails to ensure smooth and accurate vertical movement. The installation accuracy and perpendicularity of the guide rails are crucial for stable operation. To counterbalance the weight of the carriage and reduce required drive power, large vertical loopers are commonly equipped with a balancing mechanism — typically a counterweight system or hydraulic balancing system.
