The working flow of the tube mill

The production process of the tube mill is highly-automatic and continuous. The core goal is to transform steel strip into a welded pipe which customers need through welding, forming, sizing, cutting. The workflow is as follows:
I. the double-side hydraulic uncoiler
The double-side hydraulic uncoiler, designed to fix the steel strip on the the coil. This mechanism is allows automatic alternation between two coils, ensuring continuous coil feeding without interrupting. This part are enable to load or unload, while the other actively feeding material, optimizing production efficiency.
II.Shear and butt-welder
The Shear and butt-welder which insure the double steel tidily and then welding and leveling the weld seams and supply the steel strips for the accumulator.
III.Accumulator
The accumulator is mainly to store a mount of steel strip for supplying main machine before it doing head and end welding to make sure continuous production without stopping.
There are two kinds of accumulator for optional. Usually big pipe mill line use horizontal accumulation. And small pipe mill line use accumulator.
IV.Forming Machine and High frequency weleding machine
This part is roughly forming mill and weld seams. Because there are burrs around the weld,we add a scraping step.In the end, Send the pipe into cooling tank.
V sizing and straightening device
This unit is used to finishing tube blank after forming and cooling, so the pipe can reach the requirement of customer.
Then, Straightening pipe online, so the pipe can have the ideal glancing flatness.
VI.Cutting Saw
Cutting online as per setting length. In the end, Use run-out table to convey the finished pipe after cutting.
The above is the working-flow for pipe making machine.
If you are producing high-precision pipes such as automobile pipes and fluid pipes, you need to add eddy current flaw detection equipment. Eddy current flaw detection is mainly used to perform online inspection of the weld seams of welded pipes to check whether the weld seams are firmly welded and whether there are any cold welds. Conventional pipes do not need.
