The comparison of Accumulator and Horizontal accumulator
Both of their main function is to store a certain amount of steel strip for supplying main machine before it doing head and end welding to make sure main machine’s continuous production without stopping
The accumulator is suitable for MG-16 to MG-60 tube mill lines, while the Horizontal Accumulator is used for MG-60 and above.
The accumulator can store 150–300 meters of steel strip, but the horizontal accumulator has a charging speed of 120–200 meters per minute.
In terms of space, the accumulator is specious, which occupys about 6 meters, while the horizontal accumulator requires around 15 meters of floor space.
Additionally, the accumulator is more cost performance compared to the horizontal accumulator.
